//HANDS TO MYSELF - SELENA GOMEZ// REACTION//
Selena Gomez's song 'hands to myself' keeps up with the trend shown by the rest of the album, 'revival' , which seems like an attempt to redefine herself.
The song itself is pretty straightforward, but what really got me was the video.
Selena is portrayed as a stalker who somehow managed to sneak into the house of the celebrity she was obsessed with. Subsequent scenes show her doing normal stalkerish stuff - if stalkerish stuff were considered normal.
Anyway, the celebrity gets home and calls the police and that's the end of it...
Not.
In a plot twist, Selena appears to be sharing some quality time with her so called obsession, watching what seems to be a movie that includes all the preceeding events - implying that the two of them were only acting that part out.
The best part of the song is the bridge, which says :
"Can't keep my hands to myself,
I mean, I could, but why would I want to?"
Selena interprets this as not being afraid of doing what you want to do anymore, quite nice really.
