// TOVE LO - SCARS (DIVERGENT SOUNDTRACK) // REACTION //

So... Tove Lo released the audio for her new track from Allegiant, and I must be honest, I don't love it. 

As someone who has read the books, I don't really connect with it, but then again, TFIOS was the same story.
That being said, it's not a BAD song, just more of a matter of personal opinion.

That being said, I do love the lyrics. 
The slightly eerie start gives way to a powerful (and semi-redeeming) chorus. 
The tune is good, the beat is fine, it's just that something seems off to me. It seems this song is going to do well, though.

I guess this song could be one of those 'acquired tastes', let's wait and watch...

NOTE : Another song with the same name that is as good (if not better) would be 'scars' by James Bay. However, it is very stripped down and raw i.e. it may not be to everybody's liking.
